His Letters and Notes describe the Indians inhabiting their own country- The Arikara Indians of the Northern Plains; The Various Tribes of Sioux Indians; The Omaha Indians; The Osage Indians; the legendry Mandan Indians; the Caddo Indians of the Southern Plains; The Wichita Indians; The Indian Horsemen of the Komanche; and many others. In some cases his was the only record because after Catlin , the tribe  became extinct. Condition: very clean and good/ as new. used books
