Chapter 2: the propagation of light.  Chapter 3: photometry.  Chapter 4: reflection and plane  surfaces.  Chapter 5, spherical mirrors.  Chapter 6,  refraction.  Chapter 7, lenses.  Chapter 8, the composite character of sunlight.  Chapter 9: the eye and vision.  Chapter 10: optical instruments.  Chapter 11:, velocity of light.  Chapter 12: mathematical introduction to the wave theory.  Chapter 13: the wave theory of light.  Chapter 14: interference of light.  Chapter 15: colours by interference and applications.
