Synopsis: Produced by the  Photographer--editor and  friend of Pablo Picasso, David Douglas Duncan , this presentation of art  based on fantasy includes the work of four amateur artists -  Dorle  Lindner, an English housewife born in wartime Berlin, who engraves  images from a secret world in outer space; Dr Oscar Forel, a Swiss psychiatrist, who photographs abstract art found in tree bark; Hsueh Shao Tang, a Chinese chef who fled from the Communists in Peking, whose creations are made from fragments of postage stamps ; and Ariane, a Belgian Baroness, who photographs  secret facets of life in her forest garden.  The book includes an eight page art selection '  Souvenirs of the Magic World '  given to the author by Pablo Picasso as token of his friendship.  Condition: clean and good overall. used books
