The factories  represented include:- Chelsea(animal , fish, bird, and figure scent bottles), Chelsea  Gouyn  (girl in a swing scent bottles), Torner, Wedgwood, Meissen, Ludwigsburg, Kloster- Veilsdorf,  Du Paquier Vienna, Capo-di-Monte and others.  Goldsmiths  silversmiths and "toymen"  include:-Johannes Dinglinger, Richard Boult, Michael Boult, Jean Boptiste Francois Cheret,  William and Mary Deard, Joseph Lowe , Benvenuto Cellini, and John Rich.  96 black and white illustrations and 8 coloured plates support the text.  Condition: dust jacket edges  rubbed: Price corner removed: some discoloration to endpapers: preliminary lists of colour plates , list of illustrations and blank pages following index foxed: text and illustrations clean and good: overall worn but collectable used books
