Synopsis: The autobiographical analysis of aerial warfare and its consequences during the conflict between England and Germany in the Second World War by an author who became Commanding Officer of a Lancaster Squadron and a Squadron of the Pathfinder Force, and was awarded the DS0,DFC and A FC, with  mention in dispatches during World War II, before being sent by Air Chief Marshal, Sir Arthur Harris to survey the effects of bombing on Germany, and after the war becoming  Director of Civil Aviation in Germany, Civil Air Attache at the British Embassy in Bonn, and eventually a Member of the Dresden Trust, where he made a particular study of International Affairs and Foreign Policy. Condition: very clean and good overall/almost as new.
