Volume 2, 384 pages.  Contents include : -- picture mounting framing and hanging, clock cleaning and repairing, re-pinning brooches, piano repairs, re-hooping a cask, using hacksaws, casting metal, making hand-sewn boots, lighting a bucket fire, rubberstamp making, curing  dry rot in floors, mounting photographs, glass blowing and working, Emery discs bobs and wheels, Ink making, netting, repairing pocket knives and penknives, miniature electric lighting, overhauling engines, stepladders, cleaning and preserving leather backs, micrometers: how to make and use, set painting for amateur theatricals, making and erecting tents, leaded glass work etc.  etc.  Condition: slight indentation and wear to cover edges: endpapers foxed.  Volume 3, 384 pages.  Contents include: -- fitting and repairing locks, building model aeroplanes, paper hanging, cleaning and repairing watches, repairing boots, simple wood turning, making a mattress, wood inlaying, making celluloid varnish, cleaning and restoring paintings, electrode typing, making an air gas plant, making rustic furniture for the garden, French polishing, renovating a grandfather clock, simple bricklaying, bent ironwork, testing metals by touchtone, treillage and trellis work, plaster casting etc. etc.  Volume 4, 396 pages including index.
